What to prepare and where to look#
You will prepare an illustration for an invitation and a short video brief. You need the intended use, output format and optionally your own reference photo. Use material you are entitled to use for this purpose.
From a brief to a usable image#
- Open Imagine. Inspect your account’s choices and select image creation if available.
- Describe the purpose, main subject, composition and constraints. Set the aspect ratio in the controls too, if offered.
- If using your own reference, attach it and explain what should remain. An attachment alone does not say whether you want style reference, an edit or a new composition.
- Generate a first version and save it before making further changes.
Create an illustration for a neighbourhood reading event invitation. Wide landscape format. On the right: a wooden table, an open book and a cup of tea. Keep the left third calm and empty for text I will add later. Soft autumn light, muted green and cream colours. No logos or lettering. An illustration, not a photograph of a real event.
Check the space for text, readability at a small size, unwanted lettering and object shapes. Judge the image against its purpose rather than its first impression alone.
Change one thing and compare versions#
Edit the previous image: make the cup smaller and move it closer to the book. Preserve the composition, lighting, colours and empty left third. Do not add new objects or text.
If the account offers region selection, select only the part you want changed. Compare the rest of the image afterwards too; detail preservation is not guaranteed. If the same error persists, return to the saved version and simplify the request.
Slovak is a reasonable first attempt if it lets you describe the intent precisely. An English equivalent may help with a specific artistic term, but it is not a universal requirement for good images. Check every letter of important Slovak text; you can also add it in a graphics editor.
A short video with a clear action#
- Select video in the available menu and check its input, duration, resolution and usage cost.
- Specify what should remain stable and what should move. Name the main subject when using a reference image.
- Play the entire result with audio. Check the beginning, ending, shapes and audio synchronisation.
- Download the file and verify its actual duration and resolution in your player or editor.
Create a short calm shot from the attached illustration: steam gently rises from the tea and one leaf slowly passes behind the table. Keep the book, table and composition stable. No speech or new lettering. The camera may push in very slowly; keep it static if that would change the composition.
One simple movement is a useful starting test, not a rule for every video. For a complex scene, divide the idea into short shots and check continuity.
Before publishing and when something fails#
Label the output so viewers do not mistake it for a record of an actual event. Check input rights and any depiction of real people. Do not respond to a refused request by trying to bypass safeguards.
A missing voice reference or resolution may reflect a different product, plan or region. Check the account and current options; a global announcement is not a promise of Slovak availability. Next, prepare a reusable brief in the Prompt workshop.
